The three of us haven't stayed together for almost 2o years but some sad times brought us close and as one. Silly how we distance ourselves even in our high tech world. This is how I most remember my brothers and it was great to capture them on this night. Bernie with his guitar and music, and John with his tech toys especially his computers. Although we were apart for some time before this week it felt really good to be together and remember how family is everything and how fragile life really is.
Michael Montano you will be so greatly missed.

Great day of shooting with a bubbly T.V. host looking for a start to her portfolio. Red, green, black...it didn't matter!!!
What is Hip?
DJ Goldfinger needed some shots from the CIUT studio to incorporate into the What Is Hip? Newsletter. Tune in Saturdays from 6-8pm 89.5FM.

Second outing with the gorgeous Adelina this time concentrating on more fashion oriented shots. Won't be long before this TO model gets her big break with looks like this! Wow!!
Thanks to Nic and Laura.
Nothing like a road trip. On our way to CT USA for a gig and I found myself snapping away in the back seat by my lonesome trying different things with my camera. Craig had the tunes blaring as usual and Dave grooved with the music all by his lonesome. Snapped a quick shot just before a nod of appreciation on the tune selection.

Privileged to cover a night of fashion and music at Club BB in the Foxwoods Casino in CT USA. Katey Gerdes of Project Runway showcased her latest collection.
Cheers to Andrew, Fabi, Craig, and Dave.
First time shooting at the coolest bar ever called the Lola Bar with Vanessa, an aspiring sexy model originally from Cuba and now living in Toronto.
Thanks to Leo and all the pals at Lola Bar and of course thanks to Laura.
Amy Winehouse absolutely filled the Mod Club for the second straight night with her 8 piece band in grandiose style. This girl not only sings effortlessly but has style to compliment her vocals.
Thanks to Oli and REMG.
Colette and I spent a whole day inside taking photos with natural light radiating through the windows. It was a gorgeous day outside but we truly needed a lazy day and I tested my spot metering skills with Colette's fashionable ways...
I had some time to visit my brother in Miramar FL after a wedding gig in Tampa and I was surprised at how fast his kids have grown. I was also suprised at how hard it is to keep up with their energy and the never ending quest of keeping them entertained. So we went to a local park and let them run loose.

My nephew snuggling with his cute kitty. He hardly ever smiles for the camera but he just cant help himself when that fur brushes across his face along with the loud purring.
Had some fun shooting at high ISO with barely any help from the natural candle light. It didn't take long to determine the limits of my camera while the image quality reminded me of the good old film days.
Colette and I bought some plants for the condo and needed some rocks for some potting. We decided Scarborough Bluffs would be the best place to get some rocks (rocks everywhere idiot, in fact there were some perfect ones just at the lobby of the condo that we noticed the next day). To make it more interesting as well we decided to photograph the sunrise at the bluffs and woke up at 5am with thermos and camera at hand.
Got the rocks and got the shot!
"The vastness of it all."

Darius Films now have a new office in LA. Marketing pictures to showcase both locations.
I had three gigs to do in NY and Boston only to get there and get the news that 2 of the gigs would be cancelled. So...the road trips continues and off we went to Cape Cod for some much needed relaxation and warmth.
Had some free time in NY and a bunch of us went to P.S.1 and enjoyed some art and emerging DJ's do their thing. The place was jammed and the vibe was totally cool. The energy was on full and it was a great afternoon of some creatives. This shot was interesting in the fact that after a while we were smack in the middle of a group listening to the tunes and literally couldn't move anywhere. After exhausting my pic taking in my own tight space I decided to let the camera do its own shooting as it dangled from my hand...shoe level.
A celebration for my uncle Justin's birthday at my cousins new home. I was able to stop my nephew for half a second before off he went running around like crazy again with two other kids. Where do they get the energy? I didn't see any cake.

Spent a day in Elora for some creatives and took a shot of this horse just before our hike in the Gorge. I find this shot hilarious because of the composition and the accent of its mouth. I had other shots that included the horses eye or its whole head but this seems to work the best.
Went out for some photo ops at the Liberty Village area. There wasn't much colour that day but did manage an interesting shot of this partial window. Boosted a bit of contrast in photoshop to help accentuate some lines and colour.
Just happened to be in the Liberty Village area again and just happened to have my camera with me. I had only one focal length to work with that day and was fixated on taking shots of doors, locks, and handles.
I love this shot of Colette. We were having a relaxing day and the sun late in the afternoon made for some very soft lighting. I was trying out my new lens (30mm 1.4) and asked her to look at me for a couple of shots.
Went out for a day of creatives at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. For my whole set of pics for the day I desaturated all colours except for red and came out with some interesting keepers. This one was one of my favourites.
